ASSITEJ
ASSITEJ is a non-profit entity founded in 1966, dedicated to the promotion and defense of the performing arts for children and youth. ASSITEJ is present in almost 100 countries around the world, uniting theaters, festivals, actors and actresses, directors and other performing arts professionals around the world.
ASSITEJ works to guarantee access for boys, girls and young people to quality shows, and vindicates children and young people as a present-day, capable and valuable audience that needs contemporary proposals that speak to their reality, avoiding infantilization.
ASSITEJ works with a broad perspective, integrating and seeking connections with different agents, organizations and entities, acting as an articulator of different sectors in the search for a joint path that is aimed at improving access to art for boys and girls as stated in articles 13 and 31 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child or in article 44 of our constitution.
AVEET
The Valencian Association of Writers and Theater Writers, AVEET, was created in the summer of 2013 with the main intention of defending the rights of our theater authors, making visible their work and the figure of creation in Performing Arts from all its aspects. slopes.
Among the main activities are the dissemination of the profiles and works of the members on their website, the defense of labor and copyright rights, support for the publication of theatrical texts, the realization of dramatized readings and the organization of conferences, meetings and workshops.
Among its 101 associates is a wide variety of generations, profiles and trajectories, from authors with extensive experience to the youngest creators with only two works released or published.
AVEET carries out constant work collaborating with institutions and associations, both at the regional and state levels. Among the most notable activities we find the Conference on the Creation of Performing Arts for Children and Youth sponsored by the Escalante Center d'Arts Cèniques and the Provincial Council of Valencia since 2018, the Reading Clubs with the Institut Valencià de Cultura, the Laboratory of Ultramar Writing with Carme Teatre and SGAE or collaborations with the Russafa Escènica or Cabanyal Íntim festivals.
In recent years, it is also worth highlighting the networking with other theater authorship associations from different autonomous communities with the aim of improving their rights and working conditions throughout the territory.

Escalante Center
d'Arts Sceniques
El Escalante is the scenic project for children and youth of the Valencia Provincial Council. Born in 1985, it was the first theater in Spain that opted to offer quality productions and exhibitions for children and young people who, until then, were only found in theaters for adults. If these have been its two strong points, over the years it has grown, incorporating training, with the creation of the Theater School in 1995 and, no less important, the annual call for writing for the Children's and Youth Theater Award.
Thus, in all this time, Escalante has promoted the creation of some 60 own productions, large and small format shows with very diverse titles and disciplines. It has programmed, season by season, thousands of performances by Valencian, national or international companies aimed at school and family audiences.
Escalante has become a project that has consolidated a very attentive public and at the same time has served to promote and consolidate the trajectories of Valencian performing arts professionals.
